say that desmond miles was unnecessary in the games and i’ll punch you in the face
*draws a circle with my own blood* *invokes the names of the old gods and the new* please don’t let the end of naruto involve a bunch of characters getting paired off in an unnecessary and heterosexual manner *throws myself onto the pyre*
Anxiety is like perpetually hearing the boss/enemy music but never seeing the threat.
When an actor stumbles into their fandom on Tumblr:
Sia - ChandelierBut I’m holding on for dear life,
Won’t look down, won’t open my eyes
I wanna be
where the people are
P.S. The real world isn’t going to accommodate you and your “comfort.” When you get off Tumblr, there aren’t any trigger warnings. Wearing a nametag with your “gender identity” on it would be absolutely laughable. You’ll have to learn to be an adult and deal with people without being psychotic and wishing death on them.
I think this (And lots of the comments and tags I see along with it) is an extremely toxic mentality to have.
The fact that people can actually see how fucked up and unaccepting the world still is, and with this understanding, instead of trying to make it better (because you might not think so, but to some people, something as small as tagging a trigger changes their entire day) The mentality is “well you can’t change it so suck it up and move on?”
This is just so ignorant, I don’t even have the words for it.
Yes the world is fucked up, but you know what? Some of use want to change it,
And yes, that’s going to take a while, and it’s going to be extremely difficult,
But people are going to keep fighting, because in some cases, it’s a matter of life and death. (The number or LGBTQ still beaten to death is disgusting)
So the least you can do, as someone who lives in comfort and privilege (And I am privileged individual myself) Is to tag your goddamn posts because something so simple can help so much.
Jesus fucking christ people.
